Nicole Hoffmann Photography | Behind The Lens

Ever since I was a little girl, I have had a passion for pictures.  After my parents bought me my first DSLR camera my senior year of high school, that passion soon turned into a business that I had never imagined would become what it is today.  I am grateful that I am able to share my passion of photography with so many people and hopefully someday I can share that passion with you and your loved ones to create memories that will last forever.

I am currently a college student working on my undergrad at the University of Wisconsin Lacrosse. My declared major is Communication Arts with an Emphasis in Digital Media and Broadcasting. I also have a declared minor in photography, surprise right? As much as I wish I could be working full time as a photographer, I am also working hard as a student and am hoping that my education will contribute generously to my future endeavors as a professional photographer.

On top of school and my own photography business, I work for the local newspaper, The Star, as a freelance photographer. As a Cardinal alum, I love being able to go back to my old stomping grounds to capture all the latest and greatest athletes who are working hard at Sun Prairie High School.  Not only do I cover Sun Prairie sports, but I also will cover events that go on around town.

I am so thankful for all those who have supported me and believed in me while I first began the photography journey in my life. It has played a key role in who I am today and who I want to continue to become. I hope for many years ahead that I can share my passion of photography with all of those who cherish the value of a photograph, just as much as I do.
